Aquamaster Water Treatment Ltd
We had a water softener service call from the Jockey club in Newmarket. Their Fleck 9000 duplex water softener was leaking badly from the control valve. After stripping down the valve l found the cause of the problem. It was 2 leaking pistons. These pistons were Teflon coated in black and had caused a lot of major problems in the industry as they were renowned for sticking inside the spacers and seals. I replaced both pistons with new green Teflon coated pistons. After completing a full service and checking all the other parts were working correctly, the softener was tested with a full regeneration cycle and found to working ok.
